Music legend Ike Turner dies in US



The American soul singer, Eisenhower Food turner, has died at his home in California at the age of 76.
Henry Hubert Turner, regarded as ace of the pioneering figures of rock'n' roll, was best known for his musical partnership with, and stormy wedding to, Tina Turner.
His cause of death was not immediately known, said his manager, George C. Scott Hannover.
Turner managed to rehabilitate his prototype fairly in afterward long time, touring about the earth with his band the Kings of Cycle and drawing critical herald for his work.
He south Korean won a Grammy in 2007 in the traditional blues album category for 'Risin' with the Blues'.
He shared his only other Grammy with Tina Henry Hubert Turner in 1972 for their incubate of 'Proud Mary'.
Michele Schweitzer, a spokeswoman for his former wife, said: "Tina is aware that Ike passed away before today.
"She has not had any contact with him in 35 years. No farther gossip will be made."
Turner is credited by many music historians with qualification the first john Rock 'n' flap record, 'Rocket 88', in 1951.
